The Inzalo Utility Systems’ AquaData, an Automated Meter Reading Unit (AMR), is an intelligent device that enables utilities to remotely read and monitor the metered consumption of water.
The automated reading capability reduces labour costs, improves meter reading accuracy, facilitates the provision of timed water consumption data, and leak and tamper detection.
Compatible with a majority of meter types – Magnetic and digital probe versions
Communication Network – Sigfox, LoRa and RF
Communication Data – Meter reading, Total to date, Alarm status, Probe tamper and battery condition.
The AquaFlow is Inzalo Utility Systems’ next generation water management device, and its first IoT device that can communicate directly with the cloud, allowing for meter readings and loading of
prepaid water tokens.
By linking the AquaFlow to a pulse output water meter, water service providers can receive data directly to their back-end database systems via the cloud. This allows for Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and modernises Automated Meter Reading (AMR) which is crucial for reporting purposes.
Configurable – Free basic, Flow Limitation, Prepaid, Emergency Water, Lifeline, Flat Rate Tariff, Prepayment
Data Storage – 360 days profile data, 365 day totals, 12 monthly totals, tamper logs, last 50 tokens
Compatible with a majority of meter types – Magnetic and digital probe versions
Communication Network – Sigfox, LoRa and RF
Communication Data – Meter reading, Tamper, Low Battery, Leak
The Inzalo Utility Systems Radio Frequency (RF) Probe is an interface between water management devices and computer or tablet based applications. It provides bi-directional RF communications in the ISM band to facilitate reading, configuration and management of water management devices.
The Mobile Data Collector (MDC) is used to collect data from Utility Systems products. It is a mobile device that is carried by a meter reader or installed in a vehicle and is the basis of the AMR system
The User Interface Unit (UIU) is a remote display unit mounted inside the home which interacts with the WMD, Bulk WMD, utiliMeter and AquaData, which are generally installed in a meter box outside a consumer’s home.
The Utility Systems Field Service Terminal (FST) is designed for the use with the Aquadata, WMD Bulk and Water Management Device (WMD) electronic water controllers. The package is pre-installed on a windows platform notebook together with other relevant Utility Systems software.
The software provides for the configuration and testing of the Utility Systems WMDs and the Aquadata AMR unit, as well as the analysis of data retrieved. The FST can be connected to the WMD by means of an infrared communication cable to a Mobile Data Collector (MDC). When connected to the MDC, communications from the MDC to the WMD is via a radio (RF) link.
The Inzalo Utility Systems’ Water Management Device (WMD) is the original remote communicating electronic water control valve and Standard Transfer Specification (STS) Association approved device.
Can be used for :
Features
Based on our highly successful Water Management Device (WMD), the Inzalo Utility Systems Bulk WMD provides a large bore water management and prepaid metering solution. The Bulk WMD is the solution for the management of bulk water supply for customers using larger bore meters, such as zonal meters in both suburban areas and housing estates, schools, offices, factories and state departments.
When connected to an approved pulse output meter and large latching valve, the Bulk WMD is able to perform a number of water management and metering functions, including those associated with prepaid metering and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI).
The Bulk WMD can be configured to:
when used in conjunction with an approved pulse output meter and latching valve.
Approved by the STS Association, the Inzalo Utility Systems’ prepaid water metering solution addresses most metering challenges.
The solution is enabled with Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) capabilities, while preventing water wastage and allowing for accurate water balancing.
Class C, blended UV stabilised engineering, plastic bodied, semi-positive rotary piston type positive displacement water meter with a sealed wet dial.
Engineered thermal plastic, lockable, above ground meter box housing, for the protection of a water meter installation.
Engineered thermal plastic lockable surface mount meter box housing, for the protective enclosure of a water meter installation.
The Utility Systems’ Infrared (IR) Probe is used to communicate with the Water Management Device (WMD) using an infrared port on the WMD to read and configure the device. It provides bi-directional RF communications in the ISM band to facilitate reading, configuration and management of water management devices.
The Fixed Data Collector (FDC) is a robust, weather-proof unit that can be wall or pole mounted. It comes in two variants, the Solar Fixed Data Collector (SFDC)which is solar powered and the Mains Fixed Data Collector (MFDC) which is mains powered.
The Inzalop Utility Systems’ utiliRead is an app designed for the data collector to use to load a route map from a local CSV file or via the cloud; read meters on journey and record basic usage; view which meters had faults and which were not read; navigate to meters via google maps/directions ; capture a newly installed meter with geo-tagging and is available on Android and Windows.
